We fell in love with the shoes of Dieppa Restrepo already a while ago.
Inspired by classic gentleman’s style, New York City based, Dieppa Restrepo is a sophisticated unisex collection of shoes founded by Colombian duo Andrea Vargas Dieppa and Elisa Restrepo. Blurring the division between the sexes, the collection is refined, androgynous and elegant. The shoe is the quintessential grown up sneaker: beautiful and simple enough for the chic and fashion-minded, yet comfortable and durable enough for their contemporary urban lifestyle. The shoe is a walking dichotomy, both non-intrusive and timeless, yet modern and undeniably present. Dieppa Restrepo is offering a wide range of fabrics, this to give every retailer the chance to create its own personal collection. So you’ll find a different offer at each store. Amazing! In the US Dieppa Restrepo became a phenomenon. You can find the label at Totokaelo (Seattle), Steven Alan (NYC), La Garçonne (NYC),… In the Benelux currently at Lock stock & Barrel (A’dam) and Jade (Hasselt).
With a sunny smile and a happy feeling, we welcome the wonderful shades from Etnia Barcelona!
Etnia Barcelona is an independent brand of eyewear which has created a wide range of colors, collections and designs for everyone who wants to express him- or herself beyond the cannons imposed by momentary and passing fashion and trends.
The company is made up by a team of young creative and entrepreneurial workers who, thanks to the full stylistic freedom that they are given, provide the brand with its own identity, placing it on the borders of the fashion, art and design sectors. To do so, it controls the entire creation and production process, without overlooking any details and even designing its own colors with the aid of a partner in Milan that manufactures them on an exclusivity basis. Every collection has a curator. For AW 13, controversial Japanese artist/photographer Nobuyoshi Araki created the image for the Paris/Tokyo collection.
Paris / Tokyo collection
During a journey between
Paris and Tokyo, the design department of Etnia Barcelona came up with the idea to create an atypical and advanced model of glasses. The intention was
to pay tribute to fashion and technology, merging both fields and bringing them to reality in a collection of sun glasses that will show the essence of the brand. The idea was about moving forward, travelling, choosing between living in the past or accepting that the moment to live the future had come.
Paris – Tokyo consists of three unisex models, each one bearing the flight number of an airline that operates
the Paris – Tokyo route : The NH206 (Nipon Airways), The AF280 (Air France) and The JL406 (Japan Airlines)
The collection can be found at the most high ranked stores in the world. Among them are Colette, Biffi, 10 Corso Como, Storm, Boon the shop, Lane Crawford, Bungalow,….
